TVTV.nl again problems

TVTV.nl does not show any program starting januari 1. This happens not only in the EPG but also when accessing their own site.

So it is clearly their problem but it would be a good thing if El Gato contacted them about the problem.

Yep, only info for Nickelodeon/Comedy Central.

Zuigt...

Krijg trouwens de volgende melding als ik inlog op de tvtv.nl site:

"aan juridische restritions is de beschikbaarheid van de programma gegevens beperkt tot 1 dag"

Lijkt me een slechte vertaling van iets anders, maar stond dit er voorheen ook al?

Als je inlogt met je id/password dan heb je die beperking niet (ik althans niet, en je ziet dan ruim 1 week maar wel leeg) maar ook op hun site staat geen info.

Same problem here since 2009.
No EPG data available for my most favorite channels in my program guide however it doesn't show the text "No EPG data available" that's because it is available but it don't show up in my program guide.
I can see the EPG data that pops up when I'm switching channels but i can't see the info in my program guide.
Please help, I'm heavily depending on this data.

Same here, no new data from tvt.nl, for several days now.
And no info on their site about the cause. It's a paid service so it really sucks.

Je kunt daar klagen tot je eens ons weegt en dan gebeurt er nog niets.

I'm questioning myself if it's a tvtv.nl problem only cause i do can see the program info that pops up when i'm switching channels so apparently the data is somewhere on my computer but it don't show up in my program guide.

Check their website (Dutch programms) and you will see nothing. It is clearly their problem.

i ve got the same problem w my tvtv.nl program guide! it really sucks bad! though, it seems like it s mostly for the Benelux-guide coz i do can check BBC & some french posts. i already send an email to complain about it, but i think they are asleep. i suggest we stalk them w our emails each hour if needed! coz it s not fair indeed, we ve paid for it!

I have called tvtv last friday but i only talked to a man from the tech depp.
He was not able to tell me about what he called a software problem.

So basicly it was of no help at all.

Is it posible to get the Dutch EPG info in a xmltv format by http://code.google.com/p/tvgrabnlpy? In that case we don't have to pay tvtv.nl for there bad software.

No hint as to whether or not service is being restored and nothing about the fact that we (Dutch) don't get any info at all since January 1st. Also besides the badly translated:
aan juridische restritions is de beschikbaarheid van de programma gegevens beperkt tot 1 dag
I don't see anything on the tvtv.nl site that I could read regarding this issue.

I'm beginning to feel robbed by TVTV as they have automatically (without my knowledge) renewed my subscription and charged my CC only 3 weeks ago and now they stop delivering.

I just received a response from tvtv (within 2 business days as promised)

Dear customer,
unfortunately no data has been available for several dutch and belgian channels in the past few days.
The error which caused this problem has been corrected already and data will be available again very soon.

I got this one :
Unfortunately, the dutch and some belgian channels do not allow us to use more than the displayed data. In the last few days, one of our suppliers additionally had a problem to deliver the data in time, but this is corrected now and actual data will be available soon.

What do they mean with "the displayed data" ? After all, it seems they are working on the problem, so we need probably some patience for a few days.

What they mean is that there are 2 problems a the same time:
1) Legal problems prevent them from showing more than 1 day of data
2) Even that 1 day didn't work

So don't get your hopes up. When they say 'will be resolved soon' they are talking about problem 2. We are still stuck with only one day of data.

Even though the website shows the info of the current day now it still isn't imported in EyeTV. So even the one day is still not working.

Last night the tvtv is working oke on the tvtv site, but now EyeTV is not showing the EPG info in program Guide.

The lack of a working EPG pretty much makes the EyeTV useless.
No more smart guides, no more planning ahead. I used to search the EPG during the weekend and made the schedules for a week ahead.

I hope Elgato can do something about it. Perhaps Mike can bring it to the attention of the responsible persons??!

Where do you get that info from? I've written to them that I feel robbed by them because I pay for something they don't deliver and their response was the same were sorry ... legal problems..etc.

They could have mentioned that it doesn't apply to paying customers. I hope you're right but I'm afraid it ain't so.
